We have all been going down together for too long. While the richest 1% have been reaping record profits, the vast majority of Americans — black, white, or brown, gay or straight, native or foreign born — have seen their wages drop, their health insurance go through the roof, and are working longer and longer hours at multiple jobs. The way to fix this simple: America needs unions.

A union is just an organization of workers coming together to use their strength in numbers to get things done together that they can’t get done on their own. When more Americans are in unions, our entire nation is brought closer to fulfilling its promise of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,” for ALL.

On August 16, we’re coming together to demand new laws to guarantee all Americans the right to form unions! With pay we deserve, benefits, and unions for all, we’ll have a new birth of economic freedom in America, which so we desperately need!
