Created by Kansas City-based sustainable travel company Culture Xplorers, Peru Meets the Prairie leverages the power of food to change lives.
Chefs from Kansas City and Peru will gather together on June 21-24 for Peru Meets the Prairie, a series of dinners that will raise awareness of Peruvian foodways and benefit the community of Viacha, Peru.
The dinner series will explore the ingredients, traditions and food-ways of Peru and in the heart of America. Peru Meets the Prairie will also raise $10,000 that will benefit the lives of 100 families living in the remote, high Andean community of Viacha.
