Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two day workshop for caregivers who want to feel more comfortable, confident and competent in help-ing to prevent the immediate risk of suicide. Over one million caregivers have participated in this two-day, highly interactive, practical, practice-oriented work-shop. Participants include but are not limited to clergy, school professionals, mental health professionals, law enforcement, etc.
Attendance for the full two days is mandatory to participate. Enjoy small group discussions and skills practice that are based upon adult learning princi-ples. Experience powerful videos on suicide intervention. Feel challenged and safe. Learn suicide first aid.
