Over the years, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has been blessed to receive the financial support needed to achieve major milestones in the fight against cancer. From groundbreaking chemotherapy and, now, immunotherapy approvals by the FDA to the first new treatments for acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in more than 40 years. But we still have work to do. We need your support more than ever to push the envelope and continue pioneering research to find cures, not someday but today.
This year, we will host a special event entitled the Green Tie Gala to raise funds to support our mission. The inaugural Green Tie Gala will be held at the Courtyard Marriott’s View in the Briarcliff Village on Saturday, August 18th and promises to be a spectacular night full of fun — and full of hope. This event will bring together hundreds of area donors, volunteers, and charitable givers from all areas of the metro.
Our goal is to raise $250,000 at the Green Tie Gala to support the local chapter so we can continue to fund research and development and find a cure for Leukemia and Lymphoma.
