Center for Practical Bioethics
1111 Main St, Ste 500, Kansas City, Missouri 64105
For nearly 35 years, the Center has addressed issues in healthcare by using the tools of ethics and involving all voices, from patients and clinicians facing illness to advocates and policymakers crafting laws and regulations. The process resembles the five elements of improvisation: Collaboration, Structure, Knowledge, Confidence and Creativity.
With assist from Kansas City’s own world-class musician Bobby Watson, the Annual Dinner will take you on a journey through the five elements of improvisation in practical bioethics.
Reception 5:30pm | Dinner 6:45pm
Kansas City Marriott Downtown – Muehlebach Tower
Featuring Kansas City’s own world-class musician Bobby Watson.
HONORING MYRA J. CHRISTOPHER, OUR FOUNDING CEO, UPON HER RETIREMENT
Help us honor Myra’s more than three-decade journey that changed how communities across the nation care for those with terminal illness, institutions respect the rights of patients, shared decision making helps ensure that the care we receive is the care we want, and how chronic pain is perceived, judged and treated.
