Presented at the National World War I Museum and Memorial in the J.C. Nichols Auditorium. Featuring an original score performed live by a 7-piece ensemble.
A group of local artists will come together for a unique one-night theatrical performance at the National World War I Museum and Memorial on January 11.
«Trench Warfare» is a surreal take on the lives of two infantry soldiers stationed in the trenches of World War I.
Starring Khalif Gillett and Connor Woodson.
The show features an original score by Tim Harte. Harte, an undergrad in the UMKC conservatory, made history by being the first student accepted into the program using his computer as an instrument.
Seth Davis on Guitar, Kameron Sheffield on Saxophone, Michael Dannov on Clarinet, Darcy Higgins on Piano, and Matthew Niles on Cello
Directed by Marianne McKenzie, an MFA Acting and Directing student at UMKC, who has been involved in many local productions as both an actor and director, most recently in «Men on Boats» at the Unicorn Theatre.

Costume design by Kansas City-based apparel designer, Michaela Knittel of Michaela Co.
Lighting design by Kylor Greene, a first year MFA student at UMKC.
Set design from Thomas Creach, Sean Prudden and Peter Chun.

The one night, free event will take place in the J.C. Nichols Auditorium on January 11 at 7:00 p.m. with a second performance at 8:30 p.m.
