“If you want to see some sin, forget about Paris and go to Kansas City,” stated Edward Morrow about Kansas City in its heyday. The 1920’s was a wild and wily time in our town — gambling joints, jazz, brothels, bootleg hooch and just about every type of corruption and vice you could think of!
Come as your favorite gangster, femme fatale, or bootlegger! Alan Akers will teach us The Swing, along with other popular 1920’s dance steps, from 7:00pm-8:00pm, the dance will begin at 8:00pm, with live music from Grand Marquis!
There will be light 1920’s style hors d’oeuvres catered by Ridgway Catering and a cash bar with a special Prohibition cocktail and other libations.
We will have dance lessons from Alan Akers from 7pm
