Julián Zugazagoitia, director and exhibition curator, has invited three prominent French scholars and museum leaders to share perspectives on Pablo Picasso, his creative interests, and his relationship with the arts of Africa and the world.

Pioneering art historian, Peter Stepan, sits down with Julián to discuss his current research in contemporary art from Burkina Faso, and his landmark publication on Picasso’s African collection. The conversation will highlight how this once neglected aspect of Picasso’s interests contributed to themes explored in the exhibition Through the Eyes of Picasso.

The series continues on March 22.
