Concurrent to the events surrounding World War I was the Women’s Suffrage Movement. MAFB will, in a concertized setting, recreate portions of the 1913 Women’s Suffrage Procession in Washington, D.C., highlighting Missouri’s own Alma Nash and her musical contributions to this important milestone in the fight for equality. Members of the Kansas City Women’s Choir join us for this free concert. *** PLEASE NOTE: Due to the high interest in this event, we are requesting that you reserve your free tickets ahead of time by clicking on the ticket link. If demand requires we will ask the museum for additional broadcast seating or additional performance dates. ****
