Come experience this incredible, once-in-a-lifetime celestial event! Independence is in the path of totality for the Solar Eclipse, so we're inviting everyone near and far to join us for a Watch Party! This fun community event is free and open to all.

We'll have fun for all ages including:

• Bounce House
• Games
• Special offers from Independence Center Retailers
• Selfie Station
• Hassle-free venue with plenty of parking (perfect whether you have the whole day to play or can only pop in to watch the total eclipse)

• Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs

• For safe viewing of the eclipse, please be sure to protect yourself by wearing proper eyewear. As of 8/16 we are sold out and will unlikely have extra eclipse glasses.

Weather: Although the eclipse will happen regardless of the weather, we will not be able to see it very well if there's heavy cloud coverage. We will keep a close eye on the forecast and will notify you should plans change.

Eclipse Schedule:
Partial Eclipse Begins: 11:41:37
Total Eclipse Begins: 1:08:37
Maximum Eclipse: 1:09:14
Total Eclipse End: 1:09:51
Total Duration: 1m14s
