Why Ashtanga? Most Flow or Vinyasa classes trace their roots back to the system developed bySri K. Pattabhi Jois (Guruji). The Ashtanga system is a set progression, with each series building upon the one before. The practice is steeped in tradition, and can be very meditative once learned because the focus turns toward the breath bringing you more in tune with yourself.
We schedule the Ashtanga Primary Series once a month during the regularly schedule 10:30 AM Vinyasa class. You will get to experience the tradition behind flow yoga, and you might just find that you like it!
