Catch a FREE lunchtime concert in Kansas City Public Library, 14 West 10th Street, on Wednesday, September 6, 11:30am — 1:30pm. The performance will include Gerald Trimble, viola da gamba; Serdar Tuncten, percussion, and Rick Diamond, double bass.

Gerald Trimble, viola da gamba innovator and Kansas City native, is the primary exponent of a new style of playing an ancient instrument. His visionary and virtuosic playing combines Celtic, Eastern and Early Music influences with modern techniques and improvisational skills that span several centuries – from Baroque to jazz – seamlessly uniting the entire continuum.
