I’m from South Miami, Florida, and currently live in Kansas City, Missouri. Photography and a passion for art have been part of my life since I was young. My degree is in Advertising Design and Commercial Art/Photography with distinguished Honors from Longview Community College. I am also a Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society Graduate. Class of 1998.
Self expression is one of the truest forms of identifying with others and having the ability to connect on a completely different level through art. In doing this I have found a way to give back to others though my experiences and journeys. It’s been a catalyst for good in the community through charitable events and donations of my art, skills and time. I create to express what I’m feeling and thinking about the world around me and beyond. Being able to express myself through painting has helped me release my inner ideas in ways that photography cannot. Painting has been a therapeutic way to cope with the many faces of physicaldisability.
