Join us for our first «Fireside Friday in the Fall with a taste of Smithville» as we welcome Noe Palma and food catered by Smithville's La Fuente. Noe Palma who grew up in the Kansas City area plays a unique blend of country and southern rock. from Kenny Rogers to Stevie Wonder. Many of you have heard him on the radio or have watched him perform locally at a venue including as an opening act for the Kearney Amphitheater.
La Fuente — The price is $10.00 per plate. The menu will include choice of (2), hard shell or soft chicken or beef tacos with beans and rice, salsa and chips. The food will be available to purchase beginning at 5:30 p.m. In the Sunset Pavilion on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last. No food ticket is necessary.
This year we will continue with no cover charge policy. However, we hope that you will consider donating toward a special cause to help get another veteran back on their feet. We will collect monetary donations weekly during our six week food, music, and fire pit series at each bar or entrance to our patio area. Checks can be made payable to: Ladoga Ridge Winery, in the memo line, «tiny house for a veteran». Our hope is to fund a tiny house from Ladoga Ridge Winery and all of you, our winery friends. At the end of the series we will donate all funds to VCP (Veterans Community Project) in Kansas City, Missouri.
No reservations are required or available! The fire pit will be lit as weather permits. Please bring your own lawnchairs, your own wine glass (we will serve in plastic cups) after 4:00 p.m. Bottled water will be available for purchase as well as our normal gourmet cheeses, summer sausage, chips and bread.
Two bars will be open, one in the tasting room and one in The Sunset Pavililion. If you need to taste first to decide which wine you like, you can taste wine in the tasting room or The Sunset Pavilion. Tastings will be limited to 3 or fewer beginning at 4:00 pm. No tabs during this event. Wine will be sold in cups or bottles. We can recork and seal your remaining wine at no charge. Beer (Coor's Light, Bud Light, and Boulevard Wheat), in bottles will be available for purchase as well as Angry Orchard hard cider. All alcohol must be purchased from our winery. You cannot bring any from home! Slushies will be available at both bars as well. We will be selling our logo glasses $2.00 or $6.00 each depending on your choice.
Only non aggressive pets are welcomed. All pets but must be kept on a leash per City ordinance. Please clean up after your pet.
Music will begin at 6:30 pm and run through 8:30 pm. The bar will close at 8:00 pm., the gate will close at 9:30 pm. Looking forward to a relaxing and enjoyble evening with all our winery friends!
