Raytown Arts & Music Festival — August 26, 2017
The Raytown Parks and Recreation Department will host its 6th annual Arts & Music festival on Aug. 26 from noon to 7 p.m. at C. Lee Kenagy Park at 9608 E 79th Street. The festival promises a good show of artists that includes members of the Raytown Artist and Independence Art Associations who will display their works for sale on the walking trails.
Connection Point Church will host art activities for kids in the shelter house.
Food and beverages will be available on site by food trucks — Lufti's Fish, Chunky Al's, Twisted Asian, Pita for Good, KC Cooler Express and Fun House Pizza will sell adult beverages at its Tiki Hut.
Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and coolers and settle in to listen to some great music.

as this year marks the 50th Anniversary of One Toke Over the Line, the hit that launched the career of this duo who hails from Raytown and Kansas City.
