Miguel “El Mambo” DeLeon became known as the “Midwest Mambo King” in the early 1980s when he introduced
Salsa and true Latin Jazz to Midwestern audiences. A first generation Puerto Rican-American, Miguel has performed with Latin legends since the 1970s like the legendary Tito Puente (Sr.), Poncho Sanchez, Grupo Niche, Grupo Gale and Santana. He is a recording artist and performer extraordinaire. He is featured this evening with his Cárte-Blánc orchestra performing sizzling hot Latin Jazz/Samba/Bossa Nova Classic sounds in an outdoor venue looking out on the Country Club Plaza.
