What do our diverse and rich faith traditions say about justice? How do they call – or even demand – we take action to breathe life into our faith? What do Judaism, Christianity, and Islam teach us about the injustice of low-wages, income and racial inequality, and the need for a democratic voice and unions on-the-job? How do we organize our congregations and bring others together around justice and action?

Join Stand Up KC for our new dinner series – Faith, Justice, and Action – where faith leaders take up these questions. Hear the stories of low-wage and fast food workers who are fighting for $15 and the right to form unions. Train with organizers in Stand Up KC and learn how to identify and organize others in your congregation to come together around justice and taking action.

The evening’s two featured speakers:
Rev. Tex Sample, Rabbi Doug Alpert and joined by Pastor Donna Simon
