Inner Conflict/Outward Expression
Characters can be pushed and pulled through their various wants and appetites in various directions, in their mind, but often actors can find challenge in how to physicalize an internal struggle. This workshop will combine method acting with movement through Michael Chekov, centers and grand gesture to find dynamic use of the space and then bring it to an organic place where the body translates and shares with an audience what the mind is experiencing in its struggle. This workshop is perfect for any actor looking to find authentic connection with their body through movement or stillness.

She is also the head of Devised Theatre for Kennedy Center's American College Theatre Festival for Region III, a member of ATME (Association of Theatre Movement Educators) and the Theatre Communication Group. This ensemble of performers present event entertainment and original works in circus theatre: characters and productions that incorporate circus skills such as clown, fire spinning, aerial silks, physical comedy, juggling, staged combat, and more. We have toured throughout the midwest and into Canada inspiring our audiences to step away from finite and explicit into a land of whimsy and imagination. Look for our show in this year's KC Fringe Festival on the Union Station City Stage. facebook.com/events/436356736739343/
