Former President Obama said that personalized medicine promises to deliver “the right treatments at the right time, every time, to the right person.” In cancer, personalized medicine uses specific information about a person’s tumor to help diagnose, treat and measure success.

Please join us on July 19 for a lecture and conversation with Kumar Ethirajan, MD. An oncologist specializing in cancer genetics in the Kansas City area since 1993, Dr. Ethirajan will explain the basics about genes and personalization in healthcare and raise tough questions: Who owns your genetic information? For you or the greater good?
