On Monday, July 10th, Teri Wilder will be sharing a gong meditation with us at 7 PM in Friendship Hall. The gong is an ancient therapeutic instrument, working through the vibrations of sound to activate our body’s ability to heal at a cellular level. It quiets what Certified Sound Healer and Gong Master, Teri Wilder, calls the “Monkey Mind," and allows participants a deep and effortless meditation.
Teri helps you to recognize that everything is vibration, and that the sounds of the gong meet your body’s vibrations to bring you into harmony and balance. This is an easy meditation, with no prior knowledge required to participate. Simply relax comfortably and breathe deeply for a transformative sound experience.
A sound healing gong meditation can facilitate the release of poorly-served emotions and fears you may be holding onto, which could be causing illness, dis-ease or blockages in your body. You do not have to consciously know what you need to release; just set the intention to allow and heal what needs healing. The gong does the rest!
