The Kansas City LGBT Film Festival and the Kansas City Film Festival are proud to co-present this remarkable and rare film — and LGBT story filmed in Armenia and Iran.

Amram is on a life-changing journey, from his home in L.A. to Armenia for the first time since he was a child. Reunited with his older brother, he proposes to the Armenian girlfriend he met and lived with in the US. But that is not the end of this story… or the journey.

Written and directed by Pouria Heidary Oureh, who has been unable to attend screenings of the film in the US because of the travel ban. This quiet and introspective film beautifully illustrates the bittersweetness of reconnecting with a culture that may not be accepting of who you really are.
