Welcome to our Art in the Loop project, Silly Walkways.
Silly Walkways is an invitation to allow yourself a moment of levity. Levity as in humor or frivolity. As you walk around put your silly foot forward and follow the signs. Once in a while there will be a clown to clown around on the silly walk with you, maybe even a camera man. Don't be alarmed, they're very frivolous.
Silly Walkways is directly influenced by the skit «The Ministry of Silly Walks» by The Monty Python Flying Circus. If you are unfortunate enough to NOT be familiar with either then PLEASE watch this: youtube.com/watch?v=iV2ViNJFZC8
There are several signs around the Downtown Library from the Streetcar shelter to the parking garage and they will be up ALL summer long. Although you don't need a clown or a camera man to do your silly walk, we DO encourage you to join us on the specific days that there will be.
We will be posting the videos from our 4 scheduled Silly Walk Ways days on this page, our website AND the Art in the Loop website. Those would be byrdproductions.org and wwwartintheloop.com It may even show up on several other pages!!!
