As our community attempts to heal from the loss of family and friends to suicide, we can take a step forward by participating in suicide prevention training.
QPR training is an opportunity to develop a greater understanding of how to help a friend or relative in crisis how to identify someone at risk of loosing his/her life to suicide. We all have the potential to make a difference.
QPR training provides the tools and confidence to reach out to those in crisis and offer potentially life-saving communication and connection. This suicide prevention training for adults and teens is one way to increase hope and decrease suicide.
Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.
Each year thousands of Americans, like you, are saying, «Yes» to saving the life of a friend, colleague, sibling, or neighbor.
