This is a very special 3rd Friday event! We will be featuring the wondrous works of Garette Johnson. While Garette is not a native Kansas Citian, she fell in love with Kansas City when she came here to be an exhibitor at Spectrum Fantastic Art Live (read more about SFAL below). She is coming back for this year’s show so we are honored to have her as our featured artist for April. We will be featuring work from Garette’s “Natural Selection” collection. Find out more about Garette and her amazing work at garrottdesigns.com
“Natural Selection” is a unique series that combines scientific illustration, natural history, and artful expression to create colorful fine art specimens that inspire your curated lifestyle. The «Natural Selection» collection offers a variate of sizes from large statement pieces to small wonders.
It’s a perfect fit for our curiosities parlor! Garette has been a big supporter of Noir since day one. She even helped us with acquiring favorite parlor pal, Vincent. We know you will love her and her work as much as we do.
We will be doing 10% off all framed bug and butterfly specimens during the event. You will be able to enter a drawing to win a pair of free passes to the Museum at Prairiefire.
You can see Garette and so many other great artists at the Spectrum Fantastic Art Live show, April 21-23 at the Kansas City Convention Center. These tickets are EXTREMELY reasonable; $15 for a 3-day pass or $5 for Saturday or Sunday. Tickets available at the door only.
