Spring Cleansing of the spirit, mind, and body with 108 sun salutations, known as a Yoga Mala. Yes! 108! It sounds intimidating and it just might be, BUT come out anyway. Often we'll hear how important it is to get rid of the old and in with the new, but sometimes, it's a matter of acknowledging your strengths and giving them more power than your weaknesses. Sun Salutations are a set sequence of poses enabling you to connect with your inner light, a reflection/resemblance of the sun.
Each person will go at their own pace once the sequence is learned after the first set. Do not feel pressured by your neighbor's actions. Allow yourself to be authentic in your intention, your movement, and your pace.
We'll be doing 9 sets of 12. Pausing between each set to tune back in with your intention or you can be guided by the instructor's intentions for the season. This is a 2 hour practice ending with light refreshments.
Take breaks as needed. Hydrate. And Breathe.
